Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead a large‑scale enterprise digital transformation, migrating and modernising more than 20 critical Java and .NET ecosystems from on‑premises datacentres to a resilient, scalable Microsoft Azure environment. The position is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere in Armenia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and scale hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments for complex migration initiatives.
• Create and integrate continuous delivery pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins and CodeDeploy to enable zero‑downtime releases.
• Modernise virtual machine lifecycle management and provisioning with best‑in‑class operational practices.
• Develop, maintain and govern reusable Terraform modules, enforcing security through Azure Security Groups and RBAC.
• Write maintainable automation scripts in Python and PowerShell to streamline deployments and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of production‑grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands‑on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, continuous integration and release engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, including state management and modular design.
• Excellent command of English (B2+ level) and solid background in systems administration, networking and DevOps culture.
