AI Solutions Engineer – Pre‑Sales

About the role

SoftConstruct’s AI Center of Excellence is looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to join the pre‑sales team. You will translate AI capabilities into concrete partner wins, turning strategic vision into closed deals, expanded pipelines, and measurable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert throughout complex, high‑value sales cycles.
• Collaborate with client technical teams to understand architecture, integration requirements, and constraints.
• Design and present scalable AI solutions, including APIs, data pipelines, and system architectures, tailored to each client.
• Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and solution validation processes.
• Support implementation planning and handover to delivery teams for smooth onboarding.
• Work cross‑functionally with Sales and Engineering to influence product direction and improve solution offerings.
• Develop reusable solution patterns, best practices, and technical assets to scale pre‑sales effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre‑sales, or technical consulting for B2B AI, SaaS, or data‑driven products.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with APIs.
• System integration expertise.
• Design and implementation of data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (certifications a plus).
