Debt Collection Manager

About the role

SoftConstruct is seeking a seasoned Debt Collection Manager to lead strategic recovery efforts across its B2B portfolio, focusing on partners, affiliates, and international accounts within the iGaming ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive collection strategies to minimise loss and maximise liquidity.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external collection agencies and overseas third‑party collectors, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
• Prepare detailed documentation packages for legal actions and coordinate with internal legal teams and external counsel on cross‑border litigation.
• Build and scale an internal team of collection specialists, providing training on negotiation tactics and iGaming payment cycles.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with international gambling licences (MGA, UKGC) and data‑protection regulations (GDPR).
• Analyse ageing reports and DSO metrics, implement automated dunning and predictive models to flag high‑risk accounts.
• Report recovery rates, agency performance and cash‑flow impacts to the CFO and Executive Board on a weekly and monthly basis.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years in debt collection or credit management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in iGaming, fintech or SaaS environments is a plus.
• Proven track record managing debt recovery across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
• Degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, IT, Operations Management or a related field.
• Strong network of international debt‑collection agencies and excellent leadership abilities.
