Technical Support Specialist – Financials

About the role

As a Technical Support Specialist for the Financials pillar, you will be the go‑to expert for customers’ most critical accounting workflows. You will help them manage books, streamline processes, and maximize profitability using ServiceTitan’s software.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact via phone, chat, email, and screen‑sharing to assist customers with all aspects of the software.
• Master and guide users through financial modules such as invoicing, accounts receivable, job costing, and related features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with accounting integrations (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct).
• Advise customers on best practices for chart of accounts, financial reporting, and month‑end closing.
• Prevent escalations and de‑escalate cases by using support tools and thorough testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical support or accounting.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent people skills – empathetic, patient, and able to simplify complex concepts.
• Ability to thrive in a feedback‑oriented, fast‑changing environment.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of core accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual vs. cash, GL, P&L, balance sheets).
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Sage.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools – Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
