Technical Support Specialist, Financials

About the role

As a Technical Support Specialist for the Financials pillar, you will be the go‑to expert for customers’ critical business workflows, helping them manage books, streamline accounting processes, and maximize profitability using ServiceTitan software.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact via phone, chat, email, and screen‑sharing.
• Master financial modules such as invoicing, accounts receivable, job costing, and provide expert guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with accounting integrations (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, etc.).
• Guide customers on accounting best practices, chart of accounts setup, financial reporting, and month‑end closing.
• Prevent escalations and de‑escalate customers by leveraging support tools and thorough testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in technical support or accounting.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent people skills: empathetic, patient, able to translate complex concepts.
• Ability to thrive in a feedback‑oriented, rapidly changing environment.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Core accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual vs cash, general ledger, P&L, balance sheets).
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Sage Intacct or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
