Junior to Mid-level QA Engineer (Web & API Testing)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on manual testing of web applications and APIs, ensuring high‑quality, user‑friendly software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web applications to uncover bugs, performance, and usability issues.
• Use SQL to query databases, manage test data, and verify testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and expectations.
• Report defects, track them to resolution using JIRA, and verify fixes through retesting.
• Conduct regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
• Document testing processes and results for traceability.
• Continuously learn and apply new testing techniques and technologies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on software testing experience, preferably with web applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development processes.
• Ability to write clear, concise test cases and reports.

Required skills

• SQL for data queries and validation.
• Postman for API testing.
• Version control basics (Git/GitHub).
• Bug‑tracking tools such as JIRA (and optionally TestRail).
• Manual testing techniques including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.
