Senior C#/.NET Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C#/.NET Engineer to design, develop and maintain high‑performance backend services. You will work with a cross‑functional team to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET 6/7.
• Lead architectural decisions, ensure code quality and enforce secure coding standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps and other developers in an Agile environment.
• Implement RESTful APIs, micro‑services and integrate message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Work with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and optimise data processing for high‑volume systems.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers and drive continuous improvement of the SDLC.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues with a focus on long‑term maintainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and deliver high‑quality software.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Required skills

• C# and .NET 6/7.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework.
• Object‑oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, clean architecture.
• RESTful API design and micro‑services architecture.
• Message brokers: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus.
• Database technologies: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL.
• Unit and integration testing with xUnit, NUnit, Moq.
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices.
