Brand Design Manager (Remote)

About the role

Replika is looking for a Brand Design Manager to shape a brand‑new product from the ground up. This remote role focuses on inventing the product’s functions, experiences and overall feel rather than polishing visual UI elements.

Key responsibilities

• Design the product itself – define functions, experiences and how it works, starting from a blank page.
• Translate AI and technical capabilities into meaningful daily‑life improvements for users.
• Generate original concepts, new mechanics and ideas that do not yet exist.
• Rapidly prototype, test, learn and iterate, prioritising working concepts over perfect visuals.
• Maintain a high bar for originality, rejecting derivative or merely "good‑enough" solutions.
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering and founders to turn ideas into real product features.

Required profile

• Concept‑first designer who creates what a product does and feels, not just how it looks.
• Proven track record of originating truly original product ideas that have been implemented.
• Deep intuition for what makes a product exceptional versus merely competent.
• Ability to turn raw technical capabilities into user‑centric functions.
• Bias for speed – ship working concepts quickly and iterate.
• Comfortable working from a blank page with no existing patterns or specifications.
• Self‑directed and hands‑on, driving ideas without constant supervision.

Required skills

• Experience with AI, conversational or emotionally engaging products is a plus.
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of original concepts, prototypes or products.
