Business & Systems Analyst – Investment Application

About the role

ROQ Capital is building a next‑generation investment platform with AI‑driven features. As a Business / Systems Analyst you will bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring the solution addresses real financial‑service challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and formalise business and system requirements.
• Document business processes, user scenarios, integrations and system logic.
• Prepare functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA engineers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design interactions between internal services and external systems, describing REST APIs, integration scenarios, data models and business rules.
• Create BPMN, UML and sequence diagrams to visualise workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation within brokerage, trading, cash movement, KYC/AML and other financial‑service processes.

Required profile

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or a combined BA/SA role.
• Proven ability to translate business problems into development‑ready solutions without extensive supervision.
• Strong understanding of backend logic, system flows and integration patterns.
• Good grasp of the software development lifecycle and ability to communicate with both technical and business teams.

Required skills

• REST API design and documentation (JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI).
• SQL for data querying.
• Experience with BPMN, UML and sequence diagramming.
• API & integration analysis, data modelling, backend system flow comprehension.
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman or Bruno for API testing.
