Business/System Analyst – Finance Module

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business/System Analyst to own the financial module of our payment platform. You will act as the bridge between product, engineering, QA, support and client‑facing teams, turning business needs into precise functional specifications and ensuring successful delivery from discovery to production rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and formalise business requirements for financial calculations, transaction flows and reporting.
• Write implementation‑ready functional specifications, acceptance criteria and edge‑case scenarios.
• Validate financial logic, settlement rules, fees and FX calculations using real data.
• Investigate complex client scenarios and production issues, providing root‑cause analysis.
• Support QA with test cases, perform functional acceptance testing and document outcomes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of financial logic, configurations, APIs and data models.
• Collaborate continuously with product, engineering, support and client teams across multiple initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of payment processing and transaction lifecycles.
• Hands‑on experience with financial calculations, reconciliation, settlements and multi‑currency processing.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven mindset.
• Ability to switch between multiple clients, products and priorities.

Required skills

• SQL for data analysis and validation.
• REST APIs and experience using Postman.
• Working with logs and relational databases.
