Chief Specialist – Information Security (SOC)

About the role

We are looking for a Chief Specialist to join our Information Security division and strengthen our Security Operations Center (SOC). You will monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and help protect our infrastructure from emerging cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events across SIEM, EDR and related platforms.
• Analyse login alerts, differentiate genuine incidents from false positives and reduce noise.
• Investigate security incidents, document each step and produce detailed reports.
• Validate and act on vulnerability‑scanning results, assisting in remediation when needed.
• Perform threat‑intelligence research and integrate findings into internal detection workflows.
• Contribute to SOC playbooks, logs and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare periodic summaries and executive reports.

Required profile

• Higher education in IT, Information Security or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a SOC, security operations or related information‑security role.
• Good command of Armenian and working knowledge of English and Russian.
• Familiarity with security and banking standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA) is a plus.
• Professional certifications or trainings in cybersecurity are advantageous.
