Financial Analyst – Logistics

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst specialized in logistics to support financial planning, cost analysis, and data‑driven decision‑making across our supply‑chain operations. The role combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of import processes and product flow.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse product order requirements from partners and distributors.
• Work with stock data to determine optimal order quantities.
• Prepare import analysis and compare planned versus actual imports.
• Place product orders with international partners and coordinate confirmations.
• Manage the full import process from order placement to delivery in Armenia.
• Request and compare transportation quotations based on weight and volume.
• Coordinate with logistics companies, customs brokers, and other partners.
• Verify invoices and ensure delivered products match ordered quantities and specifications.
• Monitor product expiry dates and ensure timely receipt of imports.
• Follow up on customs clearance and required documentation, including excise stamps and package leaflets.
• Maintain and archive supply‑ and import‑related documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on import efficiency, product expiry, and other supply‑chain indicators.
• Support compliance with pharmaceutical, customs, and distribution regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in financial analysis, controlling, supply‑chain, procurement or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Good planning, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Armenian; Russian is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, financial modeling).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Understanding of logistics and supply‑chain processes.
