Generative AI Pipeline Engineer (Tech Lead)

About the role

CapsLock is building an AI Media Production platform that creates photorealistic visuals of real products. As the technical lead, you will design and own the end‑to‑end generative pipelines that power image and video generation for B2C client campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and operate the AI Media Production platform, including GPU environments and one‑click UI tools for non‑technical users.
• Ship modular, versioned, reproducible generative pipelines (node‑based or code‑first) using frameworks such as ComfyUI or Diffusers.
• Develop presets and use‑cases for image and video generation, and train LoRA models from raw product photography to production‑ready assets.
• Integrate control‑first techniques (ControlNet, IP‑Adapter, inpainting, reference conditioning) into every pipeline.
• Embed automated quality‑control checks that compare generated assets against product references before human review.
• Build a creative intelligence loop that captures high‑performing asset characteristics into reusable styles.
• Define the technical roadmap together with the Design Director, evaluate new models/tools, and drive adoption through enablement.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping generative AI pipelines that are used daily by other teams.
• Hands‑on expertise with production‑grade workflows in ComfyUI, Diffusers, or equivalent.
• Strong Python programming skills for automation, API integration, and custom node development.
• End‑to‑end LoRA training experience, from dataset curation to model evaluation.
• Deep knowledge of control techniques across text‑to‑image, image‑to‑image, image‑to‑video, and video‑to‑video.
• Ability to implement automated QC and set visual quality standards.
• Fluent English (B2+).
