Junior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Rivogaming is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join its infrastructure team in Yerevan. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers to keep a multi‑tenant iGaming platform fast, secure, and highly available on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain AWS services such as EC2, EBS, EKS, S3, VPC and ALB.
• Learn and apply Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices using Terraform.
• Help build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Helm charts for automated deployments.
• Write and maintain Dockerfiles, and gain hands‑on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) across development and staging environments.
• Monitor platform health with Grafana, VictoriaMetrics and VictoriaLogs, and participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Create and update runbooks, setup guides and architecture documentation.
• Assist developers with local Docker‑Compose environments and ensure consistency with production.
• Apply basic security practices, including IAM, secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, and patching.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or backend engineering (internships, projects or bootcamps count).
• Basic Linux system administration skills and comfort with the command line.
• Exposure to a cloud provider, preferably AWS.
• Curiosity about production systems and a strong willingness to learn.
