Information Technology Business Analyst

About the role

XM is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join its Business Analysis team and contribute to a business transformation. The role works closely with Product Managers, Project Managers and other departments to analyse products and services, and acts as the go-to person for product and project managers in turning their needs into solutions. It is a high-visibility position with direct contact with senior management and tech leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and document requirements using best practice.
• Analyse the current state (As-Is) and the future state (To-Be), including impact analysis, and identify gaps.
• Evaluate information from multiple sources, resolve conflicts and turn high-level information into accurate details.
• Collaborate with departments and developers to clarify functional requirements and establish a technical vision with subject matter experts.
• Manage requirement changes and the implications for systems, processes and projects, keeping everyone informed.
• Take part in planning sessions to clarify requirements and understand the system, process or project thoroughly.
• Test software and business processes against business requirements, design and specifications.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
• University degree in Computer Science or a similar field (advantage).
• Experience in the Forex industry (advantage).
• Very good written and verbal English; strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of business analysis.
• Well-structured documentation, diagrams and specifications (User Stories, Use Cases, feature breakdowns).
• Agile experience, especially Scrum and Kanban.
• JIRA and Confluence.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile development processes.
• UML (advantage); experience with distributed teams and technical communications.
