Local Consultant – Financial Inclusion Training

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Local Consultant to support the ELEVATE project in Armenia. The consultant will adapt and deliver practical financial inclusion and capability trainings to displaced persons and vulnerable community members in selected regions.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt existing financial literacy and inclusion training materials to the specific realities of displacement‑affected households.
• Organise and facilitate training sessions on household budgeting, personal financial planning, savings practices and responsible financial decision‑making.
• Coordinate with local partners, including the Central Bank of Armenia, to ensure alignment with national financial inclusion resources.
• Monitor training delivery, collect feedback and report on outcomes related to income‑generation capacity.
• Ensure a conflict‑sensitive approach that mitigates negative coping strategies.

Required profile

• Experience in designing or delivering financial literacy or inclusion programmes.
• Familiarity with the needs of displaced or vulnerable populations.
• Ability to work in Armenian contexts and adapt materials to local conditions.
