Mining Equipment Service Engineer (Komatsu)

About the role

IKO Machinery, the official Komatsu sales and service distributor in Armenia, is looking for a Mining Equipment Service Engineer to join its team in Kajaran. The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Komatsu mining equipment for customers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in Komatsu mining machines using diagnostic tools and software.
• Perform field and workshop repairs of any complexity, including hydraulic, electrical, electronic, engine and transmission systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in line with Komatsu standards.
• Use Komatsu diagnostic platforms such as KOMTRAX, VHMS and the Komatsu Diagnostic Tool.
• Participate in equipment assembly and provide technical reports on failure analysis.
• Advise customers on proper operation and maintenance of their equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience with Komatsu mining equipment.
• Hands‑on experience repairing hydraulic, engine, transmission and electrical systems.
• Background working for an official dealer, distributor or large mining operation.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics and service documentation.
• Willingness to relocate to Armenia.

• Komatsu diagnostic software (KOMTRAX, VHMS, Komatsu Diagnostic Tool).
• Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair.
• Engine and transmission maintenance.
• Electrical and electronic system diagnostics.
• Reading hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Preparation of technical failure reports.
