Patient Recruiter – Clinical Trial Recruitment Specialist

About the role

The Patient Recruiter drives participant enrollment for multiple clinical studies by identifying, engaging, and guiding prospective patients through the recruitment process. Acting as the primary point of contact, the recruiter ensures a professional, patient‑centered experience while adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), HIPAA, and site SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outreach, pre‑screening, scheduling, and follow‑up activities in line with study protocols and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accountability for recruitment metrics such as outreach volume, qualified referrals, enrollment contribution, and documentation quality.
• Document all patient interactions, eligibility discussions, and recruitment activities in real time, protecting confidentiality and data integrity.
• Escalate recruitment barriers, patient concerns, or scheduling conflicts promptly to support enrollment goals.
• Educate prospective participants about study expectations, participation requirements, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators and investigators to ensure seamless transition from recruitment to enrollment.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient‑focused approach.
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and accountability for performance metrics.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with prospective participants.
• Knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, and clinical research recruitment processes.
