Product Analyst – Billing & Payments

About the role

FunnelFox is seeking a Product Analyst focused on Billing & Payments to turn messy source data into trusted business logic, clear marts, and usable dashboards. You will work closely with the Analytics Lead and Data Engineer, supporting internal decision‑making and client‑facing reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own analytical problems end‑to‑end, translating ambiguous business questions into reliable analytical results.
• Define and validate metric logic, reconciling calculations against source systems to prevent misleading numbers.
• Investigate APIs, source tables and existing reporting logic to identify gaps and improve data quality.
• Build and maintain business‑facing marts that power dashboards, reporting and decision‑making.
• Shape upstream engineering requirements by defining changes needed when raw data does not support reliable analytics.
• Improve analytics consistency by reducing duplicated logic, documenting ownership and creating reusable datasets.

Required profile

• Strong SQL and analytical thinking with ability to explore messy data and spot edge cases.
• Experience across product, business or revenue analytics, including product usage, funnels, operational or financial metrics.
• Ability to work with both B2B and B2C metric definitions and translate data complexity into engineering requirements.
• High standards for data quality, documentation and cross‑team collaboration.
