Senior BI Analyst

About the role

Equiti is looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join its Data department in Yerevan. You will be responsible for building and maintaining Power BI solutions that support the company’s multi‑asset fintech products and enable self‑service analytics across global offices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards and supporting datasets on certified gold semantic models.
• Migrate legacy reports to the gold model, automate recurring reporting and retire duplicated or untrusted reports.
• Enhance, maintain and adapt data models to evolving business requirements while adhering to Group modelling and DAX standards.
• Build capabilities for business self‑service reporting, analytics and dashboarding.
• Validate outputs against certified definitions and troubleshoot issues in existing reports.
• Apply AI‑assisted development tools such as LLM‑enhanced DAX, M, SQL and Power BI Copilot, ensuring data quality and reconciliation.
• Optimize performance of models and reports through query folding, incremental refresh and aggregations.
• Provide technical consultation to stakeholders across global offices and document solutions.
• Contribute to BI team best practices, reusable patterns and quality checks.
• Support onboarding of new Group entities onto the shared BI platform.

Required profile

• 4+ years of commercial experience in Business Intelligence development or analytics.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Power BI stack with advanced DAX and Power Query/M expertise.
• Proven data‑visualisation skills for executive and operational audiences.
• Rigorous validation habits and a focus on data reconciliation.
• Clear communication with non‑technical stakeholders across time zones.
• Comfort using AI coding assistants productively and critically.
• Self‑starter able to deliver high‑quality work at volume.
