Senior Java Developer – Oracle ATG to Microservices

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to lead the migration of a legacy Oracle ATG platform to a modern cloud‑native microservices architecture. The role supports a global specialty retailer with extensive e‑commerce and order‑management operations across multiple continents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices that replace core Oracle ATG functionality.
• Analyze existing e‑commerce and order‑management code to define migration pathways.
• Collaborate with a large, established engineering team to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to architectural decisions throughout the ATG‑to‑microservices transition.
• Maintain high‑quality code standards and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ATG, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Background in retail e‑commerce systems and order‑management domains.
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle, from analysis to production.
• Senior‑level expertise in Java development.
