Software Engineer

About the role

Join Align Technology’s Clinical Services Applications R&D team in Yerevan. You will work on critical and research projects, experimenting with a variety of programming languages and modern cloud technologies to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, debug and support corporate applications using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Terraform, JavaScript and other languages.
• Write clear, precise documentation and maintain coding standards.
• Design and implement automated tests for functional and performance validation.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure software quality and resolve defects.
• Participate in on‑site implementation and debugging activities as needed.
• Attend mandatory trainings, meetings and contribute throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in requirements gathering, planning, design and testing of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in regulated, medical or complex 3D/geometry‑based environments.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and HTTP protocol.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, especially for technical documentation.
• Ability to estimate feasibility and effort across software, hardware, networking and database components.
