Accountant

About the role

Aktina Capital, an investment company, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team and support the company’s financial and accounting operations. The role involves handling day‑to‑day transactions, preparing mandatory reports, and ensuring compliance with Armenian tax and accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in line with legislation and standards.
• Record and process daily financial and business transactions.
• Prepare and maintain primary accounting documentation, invoices, payment records, reconciliations and supporting files.
• Perform reconciliations with banks, counterparties, clients and other relevant parties.
• Prepare financial, tax, statistical and other mandatory reports within established deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting requirements of the Republic of Armenia.
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure proper recording of settlements.
• Cooperate with auditors, regulatory authorities, banks and other external parties on accounting matters.
• Maintain proper archiving of accounting documentation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as an Accountant.
• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Armenian accounting and tax legislation.
• Good understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting procedures.
• Experience preparing financial, tax and regulatory reports.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• High level of responsibility, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Armenian and Russian; English knowledge is an advantage.
