Armenian Language Trainer

About the role

Ardy Academy seeks an engaging Armenian Language Trainer to deliver practical, conversation‑focused classes for foreigners living in Armenia. The role is contract‑based and based at the Woods Center, targeting learners who need everyday Armenian for work, social life and integration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct small‑group Armenian classes emphasizing spoken language for real‑life situations such as shopping, transportation, work and healthcare.
• Prepare structured lesson plans tailored to students’ proficiency levels and learning goals.
• Use interactive methods – role‑plays, games, situational exercises and practical assignments – to build confidence in speaking and listening.
• Assess students’ starting level, monitor progress and provide regular feedback and improvement recommendations.
• Develop or contribute to learning materials and course content for the Academy’s Armenian program.

Required profile

• Excellent command of Armenian with strong knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.
• Good command of English and Russian.
• Previous experience teaching Armenian or other languages to non‑native speakers.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Creative, patient, student‑focused, responsible, organized and punctual.
