About the role

Yerevan City Supermarkets is expanding its retail footprint and seeks a motivated Category Manager to lead key product categories. The role involves shaping assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies for beverage, alcoholic, snack, and other FMCG categories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category plans that drive sales, margin, and market share.
• Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and adjust assortments.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions with local and international suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to keep the category competitive.

Required profile

• Proven experience in category management, purchasing or commercial roles within supermarkets, FMCG, distribution or retail.
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, promotions, assortment planning and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Fluent in Armenian, Russian and English.
• Professional, responsible, hard‑working and results‑driven.
