Chef de Cuisine – French & Mediterranean

About the role

Wine Republic, a leading wine‑focused restaurant in Yerevan, is expanding its culinary offering and seeks a Chef de Cuisine to lead the kitchen. You will be responsible for creating authentic French and Mediterranean dishes that complement the restaurant’s extensive wine list.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop the kitchen brigade.
• Design and execute seasonal and à la carte menus rooted in French and Mediterranean techniques.
• Maintain food quality, plating consistency, and presentation for every service.
• Manage kitchen operations, inventory, and food cost control.
• Collaborate with ownership on concept development and culinary strategy.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef in an upscale restaurant.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise in French and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on building kitchen culture.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
