Chief Marketing Officer – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to define and execute the global marketing strategy for a fast‑scaling AI‑native cloud infrastructure startup. The role is fully remote within EMEA time zones and reports directly to the founders and commercial leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the worldwide marketing and go‑to‑market strategy, including positioning, messaging and brand differentiation for AI and cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Own demand‑generation programs across content, digital channels, events, partnerships and community building.
• Develop thought‑leadership and technical content aimed at both engineering and enterprise audiences.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to build a scalable pipeline and improve conversion rates.
• Lead product marketing, launches, campaigns and market‑expansion initiatives.
• Build and scale the marketing function, hiring internal talent and managing external partners as the company grows.
• Track marketing performance metrics such as pipeline contribution, CAC and ROI, and continuously optimise execution.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B technology marketing experience with significant leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record leading marketing for a high‑growth technology company or startup.
• Strong understanding of AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, developer platforms or related deep‑tech markets.
• Demonstrated ability to create positioning, demand‑generation and go‑to‑market strategies from scratch.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical products.
• Experience working closely with founders, Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
• Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
• Comfort operating hands‑on in an early‑stage, distributed environment and leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and content creation.
