Finance Business Partner (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Business Partner to join a fast‑growing European deep‑tech company that provides an energy‑efficient AI compute platform. The role is fully remote within EMEA, with occasional travel to client sites and headquarters. You will work closely with commercial, operations and product teams, as well as directly with end‑clients, to shape investment decisions and drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, operations and product teams to provide financial analysis for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain financial simulation models, including business plans, unit economics and deployment scenarios.
• Model and present ROI and total cost of ownership for infrastructure deployments to clients.
• Own monthly financial reporting, profitability analysis by site/unit, and KPI tracking (margin, cash conversion, payback period).
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and challenge operational assumptions.
• Analyze cost structures of manufacturing and deployment, identifying optimisation levers.
• Prepare financial materials for executive committees, boards and investors; support due‑diligence for fundraising or asset financing.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure model consistency and consolidated reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate finance, FP&A or business finance within a capex‑intensive environment (e.g., infrastructure, energy, data centres).
• Proven ability to build and defend financial models and ROI analyses with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Strong analytical rigor, autonomy and comfort with client‑facing communication.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
