Head of HR

About the role

The Head of HR will lead the human resources function for Theopharma, shaping strategy, overseeing recruitment, and driving employee engagement across all operational areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s HR strategy and core processes.
• Organise and control the full recruitment cycle for pharmacy staff, salespeople, drivers, warehouse workers, loaders, operators and other mass‑hiring positions.
• Manage talent acquisition using both active and passive sourcing methods.
• Lead the HR team by setting clear objectives, KPIs and work standards.
• Review and systematise personnel administration and employee documentation.
• Design and roll out onboarding, adaptation and performance‑evaluation programmes tailored to organisational needs.
• Collaborate with managers on team HR needs, position requirements and employee effectiveness.
• Develop employee engagement, motivation and internal communication initiatives, as well as brand‑building projects.
• Monitor employee retention, absenteeism, turnover and other HR metrics.
• Analyse HR data and present recommendations to improve team efficiency and HR processes.
• Build an HR function capable of supporting the company’s future growth and expansion.

Required profile

• Higher education in Management, Psychology, HRM or a related field.
• At least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in recruitment, personnel management and the design, implementation and successful operation of HR processes and programmes.
• Strong knowledge of personnel administration and the main requirements of Armenian labour legislation.
• Experience leading and developing an HR team.
• Proficiency in Russian and English at B2 level.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑changing environment and collaborate across functional areas.
