IT Support Engineer

About the role

Evolution Armenia is looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to provide first and second line assistance to internal users and contractors. You will maintain and improve the local IT infrastructure while ensuring high availability and security of services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices and other office equipment.
• Administer Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems and manage user devices with appropriate tools.
• Create and manage user accounts in Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365.
• Perform physical network tasks such as patching, device installation, port assignment and cabling.
• Maintain server and network equipment, handle data‑center cable patching, and keep IT asset inventory up to date.
• Collaborate with facility and security teams to resolve security issues and continuously improve the infrastructure.

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education with excellent written and spoken Armenian and English.
• Strong communication, documentation and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, make decisions and solve problems independently.

Required skills

• Fundamental IT hardware, OS and networking knowledge.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and business software deployment.
• Proficiency in Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365 administration.
• Two+ years of experience supporting user devices in a heterogeneous environment.
• Basic understanding of IT procedures and security principles.
