About the role
Codeex is looking for an experienced Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust Java‑based applications for international projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver scalable, secure solutions across multiple industries.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Hibernate/JPA.
- Participate in system architecture design, technical decision‑making and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, QA engineers and DevOps teams.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Required skills
- Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA.
- RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
- SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Git version control.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
