Learning Experience Designer

About the role

TripleTen, an EdTech company delivering tech career learning programs, seeks a Learning Experience Designer to create skill‑based learning programs from scratch. You will work remotely with a globally distributed team, collaborating closely with subject‑matter experts to transform complex topics into engaging educational experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build skill‑based learning programs in partnership with SMEs, defining competencies, learning outcomes, and practice activities.
• Write detailed learning content, including curriculum outlines, modules, lessons, examples, projects, and assessments.
• Apply scaffolding principles to design experiences that gradually increase learner independence.
• Participate in curriculum and product decisions using customer interviews, qualitative feedback, and quantitative performance data.
• Collaborate with product managers, curriculum developers, instructors, and designers.
• Contribute to the evolution of learning design standards and best practices across curricula.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a Learning Experience Designer or Instructional Designer with a proven track record of building complex, skill‑based programs.
• Proficient English (minimum B2) with excellent writing skills for clear, pedagogically sound materials.
• Expertise in curriculum mapping, competency‑based education, instructional scaffolding, and assessment design.
• Ability to interview SMEs, extract implicit knowledge, and align with product and content teams.
• Data‑informed approach using qualitative and quantitative learning data to iterate on content.

Required skills

• Experience with modern LXD tools and LMS platforms.
• Familiarity with user research methodology.
