Local Consultant – ELEVATE Project

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Local Consultant to support the ELEVATE project in Armenia. The consultant will lead practical financial inclusion and capability trainings for displaced persons and vulnerable community members across selected regions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions on household budgeting, personal financial planning, savings, and responsible financial decision‑making.
• Adapt existing financial literacy materials from the Central Bank of Armenia to local contexts in Shirak, Lori, Tavush and Gegharkunik.
• Coordinate with project partners, local authorities and community groups to ensure effective outreach.
• Monitor and report on training outcomes, participant feedback and financial inclusion indicators.
• Contribute to the overall objectives of economic resilience and empowerment of marginalized groups.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial education, inclusion or livelihood programmes.
• Familiarity with the Armenian context, especially displacement‑affected communities.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills in Armenian and English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple training sessions.
