Math and Armenian Language Teacher

About the role

The University is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Math and Armenian Language Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to undergraduate students. The role involves preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures and seminars, and supporting students’ academic development within an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, lectures, and seminars for math and Armenian language courses.
• Supervise student projects and practical assignments.
• Assess student performance through exams, quizzes, and continuous evaluation.
• Maintain accurate academic records and grading documentation.
• Participate in curriculum development and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on teaching and learning strategies.
• Provide office hours, academic advising, and mentorship to students.
• Engage in university events, workshops, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Strong teaching and classroom management skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and student assessment.
• Background in engineering, technology, or related scientific fields relevant to university programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
• Relevant academic degree (minimum bachelor’s, preferably master’s or higher) in an appropriate discipline.
• Commitment to ethical, non‑discriminatory educational practices and fostering an inclusive environment.
• Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Armenia and participate in university activities.
