Operational Excellence Business Analyst

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for an Operational Excellence Business Analyst to drive efficiency across the organization. You will work closely with IT, finance and department heads to identify cost‑saving opportunities, automate processes and build real‑time performance dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support implementation of business process initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Map processes, collect data and define business process taxonomy while tracking KPIs.
• Analyze operational data to uncover cost‑cutting and performance improvement opportunities.
• Assess costs and benefits of transformation projects, perform ROI and NPV calculations.
• Execute efficiency initiatives, monitor results and create performance dashboards.
• Collaborate with IT and holding‑company stakeholders to document requirements and test automation/RPA solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and promote continuous‑improvement practices across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or Economics.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations or process improvement.
• Coursework or certification in Data Science, Project Management (CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Russian and English.
• Strong ability to translate business pain points into technical requirements.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SQL for data mining.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis.
• Experience building automated dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
