Operations & Events Manager – Live Music Portfolio

About the role

We are looking for an Operations & Events Manager to lead execution across Basils’ live‑music portfolio in Yerevan, working directly with the founder. The role combines event production, venue development and partnership management, giving you ownership of multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and run a full‑scale concert with a chamber orchestra, handling venue, budget, program, sponsors and ticketing from start to finish.
• Build and operate a recurring club night/house series (3‑4 times a year), managing line‑up booking and logistics.
• Lead on‑ground production for the annual Jazz Festival around International Jazz Day, coordinating artists, ticketing, marketing handoff and post‑event wrap‑up.
• Drive the search for a permanent home for Listening Bar, scouting locations and feeding data into the business plan.
• Coordinate long‑term partnership agreements with Gorgeouz Beats’ artist partner and manage content calendar with the podcast co‑host.
• Maintain the cross‑project calendar, run quarterly reviews and flag off‑track items early.

Required profile

• 3+ years running live events, venues or multi‑project operations in hospitality, entertainment or festival production.
• Comfortable owning budgets and vendor/sponsor relationships end‑to‑end.
• Highly organized to juggle five projects on different timelines without missing deadlines.
• Based in or able to work from Yerevan.
• Fluent in Armenian and English (Russian a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively with founders, partners and marketing agencies.

Required skills

• Existing relationships with venues, sponsors or the local music/DJ scene in Yerevan.
• Experience with ticketing platforms and event marketing.
• Genuine interest in jazz, live music or hospitality.
