About the role
The Painter is responsible for applying and maintaining finishes on walls, ceilings, furniture and other surfaces within the hotel facilities, ensuring high‑quality appearance and compliance with safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Apply paint, stain and other finishes using brushes, spray guns or rollers.
- Prepare surfaces by applying primers or sealers and remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning or abrasive blasting.
- Cover surfaces for protection during painting, clean and store tools, and coordinate with vendors to modify colors.
- Follow company safety policies, report hazards, maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with guests.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
- At least one year of related painting or finishing experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Use of brushes, spray guns and rollers.
- Surface preparation techniques: priming, sealing, stripping, sanding, wire brushing, abrasive blasting.
- Color coordination with vendors.
