Product Engineer – AI Operating System for Short‑Term Rentals

About the role

We’re looking for an ambitious Product Engineer who wants to turn real customer problems into intuitive, reliable software. You’ll work closely with founders, designers, and operators to identify what matters, build solutions, and continuously improve them based on user feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer problems by working directly with property managers and internal teams.
• Build end‑to‑end features from prototype through frontend, backend, testing and deployment.
• Create intuitive user experiences in collaboration with designers.
• Develop event‑driven automations that eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Implement AI‑powered workflows using LLMs and AI agents.
• Design and maintain reliable APIs and integrations with platforms such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio and OpenAI.
• Deliver solutions for real‑time reservation syncing, dynamic pricing, smart‑lock access and automated guest communication.
• Measure product impact with customer feedback and usage data, iterating to improve adoption and efficiency.
• Make technical decisions that balance speed, maintainability, security and scalability as the platform grows.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend systems.
• Product mindset with curiosity about why users need a feature.
• Good judgment on usability, scope and technical trade‑offs.
• Confidence collaborating directly with customers, designers and founders.
• Self‑directed, able to own outcomes and work independently.
• Interest in AI, automation and operational efficiency.
