Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will lead the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Yerevan and involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and management reports.
• Manage general ledger entries, reconcile accounts, and supervise bookkeeping activities.
• Support tax audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify financial issues and advise on tax optimization.
• Contribute to improving internal accounting processes and support consulting projects for start‑ups.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and general ledger management.
• Experience with tax calculation, reporting, and participation in tax audits or inspections.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and use of accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
