Senior Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions for complex customer environments. You will work across the full data lifecycle, from architecture and modeling to pipeline development, analytics and production deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data solutions on GCP, including data lakes, lakehouses and cloud‑based data warehouses.
• Lead technical design and delivery of customer data projects, translating business and technical requirements into robust architectures.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real‑time workloads, handling structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data.
• Select appropriate GCP services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run/Functions) based on performance, scalability, security and cost.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, governance and orchestration processes.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, DevOps, analysts and customer stakeholders, and contribute to analytics, AI and ML solutions where relevant.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands‑on experience developing data solutions on GCP.
• Strong Python programming skills and high proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, orchestration and large‑scale data processing.
• Proven ability to design and operate cloud‑based data warehouses and lakehouse architectures.
• Fluent English communication skills.
