Senior Data Scientist

About the role

SoftConstruct is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions. The role involves turning complex data into actionable insights and mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced machine‑learning models and statistical algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI‑driven insights into business strategies and products.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Support research initiatives and pilot projects testing new AI methodologies.
• Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data science.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 3 years focused on AI and machine‑learning projects.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R.
• Hands‑on experience with deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with big‑data technologies for data manipulation and model building.
• Solid background in statistical analysis, data mining and model deployment.
