Senior Engineer – Building Systems Maintenance

About the role

Digitain is hiring a Senior Engineer who will coordinate and support comprehensive maintenance of engineering systems across its buildings, ensuring reliable operation and timely implementation of maintenance and installations. The role involves overseeing general maintenance activities, managing external partners, and driving efficiency improvements within the Engineering Unit.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all general maintenance activities of the building, including engineering systems, utilities, cafés, conference rooms and other areas.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers.
• Oversee the budgeting process and control expenses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• Suggest new tools and mechanisms to increase the efficiency of the Engineering Unit.
• Coordinate the operation of water utilities, boiler houses, pumping stations and electrical systems.

Required profile

• University degree in Energy, Electromechanics or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of work experience in Energy or Electromechanics.
• Knowledge of MS Office (advantage).
• Leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and quickly orient oneself.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
