Senior Front-End Developer (Product Mindset)

About the role

Wirestock is seeking senior front‑end developers who think like product owners to hand‑build complex, design‑led web projects such as marketing pages, e‑commerce flows, data‑heavy interfaces, scroll‑driven storytelling and interactive media.

Key responsibilities

• Transform a brief and finished Figma design into a fully functional website or web app, implementing every page, component and state by hand.
• Review briefs with a product mindset, identifying gaps in behaviour, breakpoints and accessibility before coding.
• Write clear, testable acceptance criteria and document decisions for each project.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional front‑end development experience with a portfolio of shipped websites or web apps.
• Strong product mindset: spot missing requirements, write precise requirements and raise mismatches between brief and design.
• Excellent written English.

Required skills

• Expert HTML, CSS and JavaScript (layout, responsive design, DOM, events, ES modules, localStorage) without relying on frameworks.
• Comfortable with React when needed.
• Hands‑on experience with scroll‑driven animation and micro‑interactions (IntersectionObserver, requestAnimationFrame, CSS transforms and transitions).
• Experience with Web Audio API, SVG animation or Canvas is a strong plus.
• Built data‑heavy UI such as filters, sortable tables, carts and dashboards.
• Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA (keyboard use, focus states, reduced‑motion behaviour).
