Senior Marketing Analyst

About the role

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies that builds social entertainment platforms connecting people online across cultures and regions. Its international team of digital nomads works remotely from around the world. SDG is looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to work full-time remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design the upper-level logic for marketing budget management: rules and models for allocating budget across products and traffic sources, validated and prepared for automation
• Develop and validate Early LTV metrics and models to support intra-week performance marketing and budget allocation decisions
• Build analytical frameworks and tools for performance diagnostics: drivers of change, growth opportunities and anomalies across products, channels and campaigns
• Take part in developing an internal AI-based analytics tool for performance analysis, root-cause detection and opportunity discovery
• Provide analytical support for the unified BI layer where needed: metric definitions, data validation and selected analytical use cases

Required profile

• Experience with A/B testing
• Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics and experimentation, including designing validation and backtesting methodology
• Strong understanding of performance marketing economics: LTV, CAC/CPA, ROI/ROAS, conversion funnels, cohorts and attribution
• Ability to build decision-making models and turn analytical findings into clear business rules and recommendations
• English level B2+

Required skills

• Strong SQL skills, able to work with large datasets and build complex analytical queries
• Strong spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets / Excel)
• Experience with BI tools such as Superset, Tableau or Power BI
• Advantageous: Python for data analysis, forecasting, optimization or budget allocation models, Early LTV / predictive LTV, and building automated analytical or AI/LLM-based tools
