Senior QA Engineer – Data Quality (AQA)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer specialized in Data Quality to support a large‑scale data consolidation project for a global consumer goods leader. You will work across the full data stack, from raw ingestion to enterprise‑grade lakehouse platforms, ensuring that data migrations and transformations meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate data migration into the Enterprise Data Foundation (EDF) bronze and silver layers.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end integration tests for applications feeding the EDF.
• Create unit and functional tests for Data Quality (DQ) rules.
• Provide hands‑on deployment support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support root‑cause analysis of data quality issues and help define remediation plans.
• Adopt new tools quickly, such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Informatica Governance, and Informatica Data Quality.
• Contribute to and evolve the team’s data‑quality testing standards and frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience as a Data Quality Engineer, QA/AQA Engineer, or Data Test Engineer.
• Proven ability to write automated tests and validation scripts using Python.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with data reconciliation/validation.
• Experience designing test cases, strategies, and DQ rule testing (unit and functional).
• Prior involvement in deployment support during UAT.
• Good understanding of structured SDLC and test methodologies.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
