AI Risk Management Specialist

About the role

Evoca is looking for an AI Risk Management Specialist to ensure that AI solutions are developed and operated in line with risk management principles, regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and data protection rules. You will play a key part in shaping the company’s AI governance framework and safeguarding AI deployments throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the AI Governance Framework, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Maintain the AI systems register and continuously assess risks across the AI lifecycle.
• Support AI/ML model validation, monitor model risks, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Assess data quality, bias, fairness, and ethical impact of AI systems, promoting explainability, transparency, and accountability.
• Manage AI operational risks, analyse incidents, and create remediation action plans.
• Define AI Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), prepare risk reports for management, and monitor AI system performance.
• Participate in preliminary AI project assessments and lead AI risk awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Higher education in mathematics, data science, information technology or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in model risk management, data science, or IT.
• Professional qualification or certification in AI Governance, Responsible AI, NIST AI RMF, or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulatory requirements, data protection, and AI governance principles.
• Excellent command of English and Russian.
