Senior US Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior US Accountant to join our finance team based in Armenia. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and supporting a range of projects for US‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, checks, and related financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal company policies.
• Conduct monthly closing entries and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts.
• Process large volumes of transactions within set deadlines.
• Collaborate with US clients, providing accounting support and expertise.
• Handle client onboarding, including data migration and system setup.
• Assist with audits, tax preparation, and financial analysis as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and its practical application.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
