Technical Support Consultant, VPS & Trading (Remote)

About the role

SupportYourApp is a global Intelligent Support-as-a-Service provider working with tech companies and industry leaders in 30+ countries. It is looking for a Technical Support Consultant to provide remote, first-line technical support for customers' Windows-based VPS environments used for trading. The role is fully remote, with flexible hours and compensation paid in USD.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding technical support via email and chat
• Perform first-tier (T1) troubleshooting for customers' Windows-based VPS environments used for trading
• Build strong and lasting customer relationships
• Keep up with evolving tools and technology
• Handle sensitive customer data with care and security
• Apply the latest customer happiness practices and meet KPIs
• Communicate with developers and cross-functional specialists

Required profile

• Excellent English communication skills (at least C1 level)
• At least 6 months of experience in a technical support role
• Hands-on experience with VPS setup and management
• Trading experience
• Strong understanding of Windows Server administration
• Familiarity with trading platforms such as TradingView, TradeStation and NinjaTrader
• Strong analytical thinking and research skills, and a positive, proactive attitude
• Personal computer with at least 8 GB of RAM and a stable internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download, 40 Mbps upload)
