Technical Support Specialist – Payment Cards & Transfers

About the role

The Technical Support Specialist will join the Payment Cards and Transfers Department of idbank, providing day‑to‑day assistance for self‑service devices and POS terminals. The role ensures smooth operation of card‑related processes and supports banking branches in hardware handling.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of ATMs and other self‑service equipment.
• Install and train staff on registered POS terminals at service points.
• Transfer PIN‑encrypted software, POS terminals, and documents from the processing centre to the bank.
• Move cards received from ATMs to the bank’s processing facilities.
• Monitor the card naming process and oversee card printing when required.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in banking or a related field.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Excellent command of Armenian; good knowledge of English and Russian.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
