WordPress Developer (Elementor & Custom Development)

About the role

A WordPress developer is sought who owns projects end-to-end, works directly with stakeholders and delivers independently. The role involves making sound technical decisions, taking responsibility for product quality and paying close attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins and Elementor widgets.
• Build responsive, accurate interfaces and integrate third-party APIs.
• Improve website performance and security, and resolve technical issues independently.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, scope and prioritise work, and report progress without day-to-day supervision.
• Identify risks early and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong PHP and MySQL skills, including OOP and query optimisation.
• Advanced Elementor skills, including custom widgets, hooks and dynamic content.
• Solid Git workflow and a focus on maintainable, well-documented code.

Required skills

• WordPress APIs, hooks, filters, custom post types and template hierarchy.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• REST API integrations, WordPress security and caching.
